Doesn't say in that article, but another  article  says Nolan was having chest pains.

Even though he is to be transferred to Houston from RR for further evaluations after initial tests were "normal",  this  says he still planning on attending the camp next week and includes this quote:

"From all the indications we have received from the Ryan family, his intent is to be here and ready to go," Purpura said. "We're looking forward to getting back on the field and working with these guys."

"I reject your reality and substitute my own!"

Seems to be a black cloud over the pitching staff from that 80's team lately.

Just heard that Ryan's condition was discovered when he had heart surgery a few years back. That is from statement from either Reid or the other son.
