Ensberg in Round Rock on Monday night...
« on: August 01, 2006, 04:12:09 am »
I wasn't able to go to the game and I'd be interested to here from someone who did, but Moberg...

  • Went 2-4 at the plate with a homer (off Brandon Puffer) and 2 RBIs, also drawing a walk. So he finishes up his rehab stint with a collective 6-12 with two longballs and seven RBIs in the three games.
  • Had another two errors for the second game in a row. Three of the four miscues were on throws.

RR manager Jackie Moore after the game:

"I think he is still a little tight in (his shoulder). But he got better as the game went on. It didn't bother him swinging the bat."

Thanks for the update.  4 errors in 3 games is a bit unsettling.

Do you know which shoulder he injured?

Also, do you know when and how he injured it?  I remember him diving for a short foul ball, looking like he might have hurt his shoulder, but I don't ever remember hearing exactly what caused it.
