boys and girls, that was some damn fine hitting. he had guessed FB and was WAY out in front of the curve. he kept his hands back, though, and hit the ball out with his hands. wow.

It was kind of "purty" wasn't it.  Hope he keeps up that hitting as both hits were a welcome change.

Frankly, I didn't even think is K in the 6th was all that bad.  Solid swing on strike 3, just got beaten by a great pitch.

it came at a bad time though, as taveras was at 3rd with one out i believe.  but at least this time, wilson picked him up with a base hit to score the run anyway.
