What gets me, the Racket can sign, right now, with any club other than the Astros. Does he need a fucking ink pen?

IMO, Drayton and Roger have a thing going, especially Roger who loves this shit. I look for him to sign with the Astros, and announce this will be his last go around.

Until next year, of course.

Precisely. If he's pining so bad to play for Boston, New York or Texas, he could be in uniform in the dugout tonight if he wanted to.

Only, he wouldn't have the drama of the Astros being in the bidding for his services.

Think of the stories and publicity that will give birth to.
It's my estimation that every man ever got a statue made of 'em was one kinda sombitch or another.

August 31, if they want him on the playoff roster.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.
