Cubs swept the 3rds at Wrigley.  That's pretty funny.

I watched the game yesterday.  It was like watching the USSR and Nazi Germany duke it out.  Not sure who to root for.  Michael Barrett was the hero.  As long as he's a thorn in someone else's side, that's fine.

In other news, Chipper is out with a hurt knee and ankle.  Not sure how serious it is.

It is my hope that those two split their season series evenly.  Sweeps by the home team or something like that.  Judging by the first week, I like the Astros' chances unless the Brewers don't come back to earth.

I watched IZZY blow the game in the 8th.  Rincon walked a batter, then IZZY walked two.  Barrett hits one out of the park.

Now the 3rdnals have to face the might Brewers, and the Cubs the mighty Reds.  Go Team!

Izzy's control was abysmal.  He couldn't find the plate until he was facing Barrett, in which case he tossed a BP fastball right down the middle.

and the bullpen is confused about their roles,

In the bullpen, the relievers "didn't know for sure what was going on when Braden started warming up then sat down and Rincon was going back out," Isringhausen said. "We just sit down there and do what we're told."

That was the last thing I saw before going to bed Sunday night. Made for a nice wrap-up to the weekend.
