long enough to ask (this appeared in Footer's mailbag)

"...So my question is, how do Astros fans view Cardinals fans?"

The Link

From under the bill of our caps? Crosseyed? From as far away as possible?  We wish we could quit ya? WHAT? What answer would you like?  (Footer answers with the mutual respect yadayada)

Last season?  In a rear-view mirror.
Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.

Anyone have the link to the video of those drunk, crying, jibberish-speaking young Cardinal fans after NLCS game 6?  They are the first example that come to my mind when I think "Cardinal fans."
"Ground ball right side, they're not gonna be able to turn two OR ARE THEY, THROW, IS IN TIME!!! WHAT AN UNBELIEVABLE TURN BY BRUNTLETT AND EVERETT, AND THEY CUT DOWN MABRY TO END THE GAME, AND THE ASTROS LEAD THIS NATIONAL LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES THREE GAMES TO ONE!!!!!"

That video just gets better every time I see it.  The backwards upsidedown visor is such a great testimony to a "true" co-ard fan.  IMHO men should never own a visor, let alone wear it in public.  The guy in the background licking his girlfriends face while the BFIB's blabber on about their grandmothers is also amusing.

This, plus that pic of the Braves kid crying, makes life worth living.
