And the Contract Goes to...
« on: December 21, 2005, 10:51:04 am »
From this article in today's Chronicle:

"Astros general manager Tim Purpura signed backup catcher Raul Chavez to a one-year contract Tuesday. He also tendered contracts to his four remaining arbitration-eligible players: All-Stars Brad Lidge and Morgan Ensberg and shortstop Adam Everett and reliever Dan Wheeler."

What's the ML minimum?  About $280,000?  I assume that Chamo's contract is guaranteed?
