Recording the Series
« on: October 20, 2005, 06:16:56 pm »
First of all, let me state that I had planed on taping the games, but just thought about recording them directly to DVD.  Problem is that being at work, I can't see my HDDVR so I don't know if it can be done?  I was hoping that I could HDDVR the game and then burn it directly to my DVDRW on my computer.  Has anybody done this...do the DVRs have cabling options like that on the back?  Otherwise, I'm having my M-in-law bring up her DVD Burner with her when she comes in tomorrow and or it's going on VHS.

If you have a Time Warner DVR (dunno the brand), you have a composite output (as opposed to a HD component output) to allow you to copy saved programs to a VCR.  Maybe if you had a DVD-R of some description that can record TV, you should be able to take the games down to DVD.  It won't be HD though.
Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.

If you have Tivo, it can be made to do what you are asking.
Oye. Vamos, vamos.
