...unanimously pick the 'stros to win the Braves series.

I am not at all sure if this is a good or bad thing.

I remember a while back wasting time watching sports center.  Everyone on there picked the Marlins or Phillies.  No one even mentioned the Astros to win the Wild Card.  I only hope those jackasses are right this time.

1)  The 1-5 record head-to-head is skewed because those games were played in April and May; i.e. before the Astros showed up; and

2)  If the BBGs paid any attention to ESPN, the Yankees would never win anything ever.
Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.

I heard nothing but "the Marlins, with that pitching, are the team to watchout for" for the last two months.  HA!

Not only that but 5 of them (Jayson Stark, Rob Neyer, Jim Caple, Sean McAdam, and of all people PETER FREAKIN' GAMMONS) picked the Astros to win it all.  Three more (Buster Olney, Gary Miller, and Pedro Gomez) picked the Astros to make it to the series.  That's 8 out of 15.  It appears that we are the darling pick, which scares me to no end.

Actually I just got done reading Sportsline.com's "analysis".  What a joke.  It basically came down to our offense being too bad to win, Bobby Cox's alleged genius, and the Braves' "youthful exuberance".  I guess Wily T, Lane, Burke, Bruntlett, and the rest of our Kiddie Corps don't count.

But hey, the Braves have their SI coverboy Francoeur, so they've GOTTA win.
