Astros/Braves Game 3: Saturday, 12:05 central.

Texas/OU game: Saturday, 12:00 central.

Me: already planning on moving second TV into living room.

OWA Post-Game Party

Somewhere downtown or near downtown so that those with and without tix can all meet.  Probably best to have an HA meeting for those without tix ("The Tavern" again as it was our lucky venue?), and the attendees can come along to visit the remnants after.

Just a thought...

I'm not going to have tickets for any games this year (my pending daughter better appreciate that I recognize her need for diapers) so I would be up for Saturday at a bar, watching the game.

Have fun, I'll be hosting a baby shower.  Only good thing about it is that we will have the game on the television.

C'MON!  There's a buhzillion babies born every minute, but only ONE Astros playoff game!

Funny thing, the expecting mom is having to give up her playoff tickets.

Shoulda used a condom.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Where'd you guys see that Saturday is at 12:05? I've been looking everywhere since I have tickets, but MLB.com still has it as TBD.

Go to the Astros page on Yahoo.  They show that, plus they schedule Games #4 and #5 as 1.00pm and 12.00pm (EDT) respectively.

Thanks. I'm assuming those last three are subject to change if the other series end early. But it's at least good to have an idea of what they're looking at.

I don't doubt the 12:05 game time for Saturday.  Game 5 probably wouldn't be at 11:00 in the morning.  I'd think it would be prime time on Fox or ESPN.

Depends who's still playing at that time, but I agree that the morning start is just provisional.

What is does tell you is that the mediots consider the Braves-Astros series to be the least interesting / marketable of the 4 series in question.
