While I'd Do Almost Anything to Not Have To See...

Another fucking RedSox/Yanks ALCS, as long as both ALDSes are sweeps, I don't care who it is.

I can just see them starting our Sat and Sun games at midnight or 7am to appease the East Coast apes.

I was pulling for Cleveland hard this weekend.  Angles v. White Sox, anyone?

Yeah, me too.  I'm serious, if I have to suffer another Sox/Yanks ALCS, I'll puke.  Who gives a shit??

Don't believe in East Coast Media Bias???  Stick around a couple more weeks, I'll prove it to you.

I'm absolutely begging for an all-west-of-the-Mississippi ALCS/NLCS.  It'd be awesome.  Fuck Fox.

I don't see how anyone could make a serious argument against ECM bias.  A west-of-Mississippi ALCS/NLCS would be sweet.  If it happens then just expect a lot more college/NFL coverage on ESPN Sports Center.  World Series will get some coverage regardless who plays, but if it doesn't include Sox/Yankees then coverage will be cut in half and Fox announcers will whine endlessly about what would've been had one of the two made it.

Totally agree.  That's why I hope it happens.

I just remember that almost no one in America watched Game Five last year because it was on Fox West Family 2 while they forced the ALCS on the rest of the nation.

Let's go ChiSox!  Let's go Angels!

Right now the "Top Stories" section on MSNBC.com has the headline: "Boston wins wild card"

An indented sub-headline beneath it says "Astros too"

Well, and it makes perfect sense since Houston is the 4th largest city in America and Boston is 6th.

I'll grant them that the baseball fans in Boston are light year, LIGHT YEARS, ahead of Houston baseball fans, but c'mon.

I don't even LIVE in Houston and I'm so fucking sick of its national "reputation" as a dusty little old west town.

I do a lot of travel for my business and while I was in Philly (how ironic) about 6 weeks ago (before we were mortal enemies), I met some other investment guy at a function who had no idea Houston had more than 250,000 people.

"I knew it was a decent sized city, but MILLIONS?"

"Yes.  For about 60 years."
