Attending a Rangers game
« on: March 18, 2019, 03:27:06 pm »
I'm looking at taking my 9-year-old son to see the Astros play in Arlington next month (the Friday night game).

It's been years since I've been to a game in Arlington, and this will be my son's first time there... I know the sun bakes in the daytime, and you want to be where you can see the right-field videoboard.

Other than that -- any suggestions/advice regarding the best place(s) to sit without spending an arm and a leg?

The 1B/RF side get shade early.  Depending on your price cutoff you should be good anywhere along that side, lower level to upper deck.   Closer to HP/1B should afford a more comfortable view of the big screen.

3B side gets baked (i.e. visitors side,  naturally) but the upper reaches of the lower level is shaded by the middle level above.  View of the scoreboard may be obstructed the further back you go.
