Gomez may be banished to the bench if Hinch prefers a recently called-up lefty on lefty match-up to putting Gomez back out there.

I wouldn't let Gomez play another fuckin' game until he puts the glasses back on. He had a good stretch wearing the glasses. The contacts ain't working. They're not for everybody. i never took to 'em.

I didn't know much about Kepler, but hearing that he's a German born player, I was looking him up on wikipedia.  I was curious if he was just someone born to an American parent stationed there or something.  His parents are both professional ballet dancers that met while working for a company in Berlin.  His mother is actually from San Antonio originally, his father is from Poland.  Sorry if this was known already.  I just found it interesting.

I just get excited when a European player shows up in the big leagues.  It would be nice for the game to expand further there.

I think that on last night's telecast they said he didn't move the US until he was in high school, which makes his accomplishment that much more impressive.

Blummer says that when his teams needed an rbi Bagwell was the one to 'break the seal.'

I might have found a different way to put it.

My power went out, and the Astros start scoring.  Maybe I should go all survivalist for the team's sake.
