Will Keuchel start at home against the Angels?
« on: July 21, 2015, 10:36:00 am »
Dallas Keuchel pitched on July 19th.   The Astros host the Angels on July 28-30th.  Keuchel is 9-0 with a 1.13 ERA at home.  The only way he won't pitch in that Angels series is if Hinch gives him an extra day off before each of his next two starts, leading to Scott Feldman getting that last key start against the Angels.

ESPN.com currently lists the Astros as doing exactly that.

It's not an "extra" day off, it's just the way the rotation lays out.  The only way he pitches against the Angels is if they skip someone else in the rotation.  Perhaps they'll do that.  I'm not sure if they've figured it out that far in advance.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Keuchel is on pace for like 250 IP.  They wont be skipping people to get him more starts.
