Presumably the matchups for the Cleveland series will be

Mon: Peacock vs. House
Tue: McHugh vs. Kluber
Wed: Tropeano vs. Carrasco
Thu: Oberholtzer vs. Salazar

And McHugh benefits by getting a 3rd start in the season's final series of the year.  If he's within 8 innings of 162, I bet he starts a 3rd time.  He might start that game regardless.

Any word on George Springer returning?

Astros targeting homestand for Springer's return

Astros rookie outfielder George Springer, who's been out since July 20 with a strained left quad, is still expected to return to action at some point in the final weeks of the regular season but not until the current road trip is over.

"As soon as possible," general manager Jeff Luhnow said Friday when asked about Springer's return.

The Astros have one final homestand remaining, Sept. 15-21.

This article doesn't sound optimistic.

Springer said he felt good but did not give any indication he could be activated imminently.
