Did anyone see his line from yesterday? In 2.2 frames, he gave up no hits and four earned runs! He walked eight hitters and struck out only one. That's little league-esque. He threw only 26 strikes out of 65 tosses. That's an off day.

Don't worry, I am sure he will be fine by the time the Astros get to town.  Our team seems to be a tonic for players and teams that are stinking up the place.

This has nothing to do with the line, but what happened 30 years or so ago so that there are so many Brandons?  Even before this I was thinking that next year my fantasy drafting strategy would be to only draft Brandons.

Obviously because it was the name of the dog on Punky Brewster.

There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

I told Batgirl that if we had a set of boy/girl twins their names would be, without negotiation, Brandon and Brenda.  Fortunately (for all parties) it didn't come to pass.
