Cosart walks the bases loaded and Cespedes bloops one into CF for two runs.

2 run homer. 7-0 Athletics. This game is essentially over in the first inning.

Fuck. I sat Callaspo for my fantasy team tonight because I figure that Cosart would be a relatively stout matchup for Gray. I'm a knucklehead.

Cosart looked it was his first time throwing a baseball.

I started Gray for my fantasy team tonight because I figured he was pitching against the Astros.

This team can't catch a break.

I suspect that breaks are at least loosely correlated with talent.

Well even talentless teams have a bit of luck from time to time. Not the Astros.

Porter, and Ashby and Blum for that matter, is overplaying Lowrie's bunt attempt, IMO.  Either hit his ass or don't, but don't point at him and lecture.  It looks really weak.

haha If Clemens could throw the ball where he wanted to then Lowrie would have been beaned. It went right between his legs.

Three hits in a row. Is that a first for the year?

Great to see though.

It is over if anyone is awake / interested, Oakland win it 11 - 3.   It was pretty hard to watch.

NeilT, your analysis is spot on. I particularly loved the new name for our manager.
