Feldman/rotation
« on: December 06, 2013, 01:27:13 pm »
Pulling this out of the FA Signings thread... With the addition of Feldman, what would you guess the rotation looks like now? Is anybody besides Feldman and maybe Cosart a lock for the rotation right now?

I'd say

Feldman
Cosart
Oberholtzer
Peacock

all have very good shots, if not quite "guaranteed", with Keuchel, Wojo, Martinez, and... whatever other AAA guys I'm forgetting, competing for the 5th spot.

That's probably right.

Maybe another guy to come. Luhnow indicated he had hopes for a trade for pitching.

I like the Feldman signing, but at this point, Cosart has to be ahead of him.

I like Feldman (on paper) as the kind of guy who could be a solid innings eater this year, and a reliable #3-4 when Appel, Folty and Rodon are in the bigs.
