New favorite website

http://mlbfarm.com/

Aggregates all box score data from the day's MiLB games and sorts by team. It just launched, so there will probably be some bugs to work out, but it should be a good time-saver for bus riders. I just pulled it up on my iphone and it worked very well. Thanks go to farmstros for providing the link.

ETA: check the charts link in the top right, too. Fun stuff.

finding mlbfarm wass cool enough - finding out my best friend's brother developed it was the icing on the cake.

He's a good kid.  (Note: definitions of "kid" vary as I get older.)  Pretty good HS ballplayer too.

To me, you'll always be a kid because you were a kid when we first crossed paths here.

The prospects tab is great.  It groups the minor leaguers stats together by team, by draft class.  There are 4 hitters from the 2010 draft class still in the organization.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

Yeah, but there at least 8 pitchers (doing a quick count) from that class still in the org.  So, is the total left (12?) really that unusual?

Based on a quick flip through the site, it's pretty pitiful.

That was the draft we had 5 picks in the top 50.  Most of them are doing well to really well, Folty, DDJr, Austin Wates and Velasquez.  Only Kvasnicka bombed out, although he is doing OK now that he was traded away.   Might not be a lot of depth, but there is a chance for that group to make it at least a decent draft.
