Wallace double clutch and a meatball to Longoria makes it 1-0 Top 2

Approach, transfer and throw were all not very good on that play by Wallace.

I thought that it was a bit nonchalant for a play on a swift leadoff hitter.

Just based on listening, it sounds like basic fundamentals would be a big stride forward for this club.

Pretty typical Bedard game line- 5 8 3 2 2 6 109 pitches and a lot of 3-2 counts.

I'm pretty tired of them running this hip hop '42' commercial every half inning. "I'm Jackie Robison..."

The fucking Blue Jays are fucking with my head in the ninth inning. I had already put that win in the bank. But Johnson, who has lost seven games as a closer at the ASB. I smell a fucking rat.

No, I wasted 5.2 innings by starting Perez (actually, failing to remove him from the start) against Verlander.

A cool 56 point performance by Archer today. Lincecum's no-hitter was 60 points.

I didn't see much of the game, but I saw some A-baller in the Rockies org throw two strikes at 97-98, and then throw a changeup for strike three that just exploded down and in to the right-handed batter. Poor kid never had a chance.

I enjoyed the game. It was fun to see springer. He didn't have great results but still flashed his skills. That foul ball he crushed in the first was a formidable display of bat speed. His IF BH was a good show of foot speed. He's not as much of a hacker as I expected. He laid off close balls, but he swings as hard as he can every swing.

Scout sitting with me agrees Carlos Correa was star of BP. Loose, athletic, some projection and current above average raw power.
