Happy Mother's Day
« on: May 12, 2013, 09:31:30 am »
For all you mothers out there...

We're taking Mrs. Brand to see Iron Man 3 at the Drafthouse, possibly car-shopping, and then to Uchiko tonight. I hope everyone's plans turn out to be as good as I hope mine to be.
I'm in love with rock and roll and I'll be out all night.

Moms are the backbone and conscience of civilization. I salute all of you out there! I hope that those who are indebted to you treat you all like the queens that you are, not only today on your special day, but everyday.

I just lost my mom in January so this has been a more somber M-D for me. Fortunately, daughter is up from Austin to be with her mom and that makes it more joyous.
And, yes, happy M-D to any and all of you out there.

I'm sorry for your loss, JG. I still have my mother, and I've tried to imagine life without her one day and have had trouble doing so.

Thanks for the sentiment, Hap.

It's my wife's bday today, too.  Thankfully she decided to spend her big night with me at Anvil and Hay Merchant.
Happy Mother's Day!
Don't think twice, it's alright.

November for me. yesterday felt strange.
