Mr. The Altuve with a couple of NICE defensive plays in B1.  End 1: HOU 0, WAS 0

Nope, but WAS is only in their second set of ABs for the game (i.e. B2).  Give 'em time...

OK, maybe not.  End 2: HOU 0, WAS 0

I thought the same thing, both about CJ and about Gio, because I've seen Gio pitch on TV several times. In my view, that's a new pitch that he's now featuring because I don't recall that pitch from years past.

Astros get 4 picks in the top 100 of the draft. Would be great to hit it right on three if them.

The DH can't get here fast enough for JD Martinez.  Brutal.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

He had that every time I've seen him go, but that changeup he showed to CJ was new, developed over the off-season.

Honestly, he seemed better in the field last year.  Can you have a fielding slump?

He took several bad routes in Miami too.

Plenty of room to lose yourself there, but he did have swirling strong winds too.

And its a new stadium, he certainly wasn't the only OF struggling last week.  But he generally looks uncomfortable/unsure in the field this year..

Who pinch hits for Wandy, here? Who would Mills call to pinch hit? I say if there's two out and no one on base for Wandy, keep him oiut there. He's still in the 80's pitch count wise, so he's okay.

There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

Seaton is pitching for the Hooks.  Edwar Cabrera is the opposing pitcher with 7 Ks through 7 perfect

He got 8 perfect.  Chris Wallace broke it up to lead off the 9th.  Edwar pulled right after

You'd think that on the one day NASA parades the fucking space shuttle around Washington half the morning, the Astros would actually be able to win a baseball game there.

Gonna to be a long season.

Unless you want me to spend the rest of this season inventing a way to stab people via the internet, I kindly request you don't post "it's going to be a long season." anymore.

Not that I want remy to be on the receiving end of that (as I don't)... but...  there are a number of folks on the interwebs that I would REALLY like to stab, and'd certainly appreciate seeing a proven method of how such a thing'd be accomplished...  You'd really be doing a service to all of us (again, not stabbing remy, rather just teachin' us how stabbing via the internet could actually be pulled off...), and I trust you to have the requisite skills to actually pull such a thing off!
