I remember all the good times me 'n Miller enjoyed
Up and down the M1 in some luminous yo-yo toy
But the future has to change - and to change I've got to destroy
Oh look out Lennon here I come - land ahoy-hoy-hoy

We need to start calling them the "Melts".
Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.

Collins is approaching critical mass. Mets off to a 6-0 deficit after two innings.

I can't wait for him to yell "I'm gettin' too old for this shit!" to Mel Gibson!

I get the reference; but in my mind, I attribute that line to Sgt. Hulka.

Collins needs to realize the Mets are like a foot, and he is the big toe.
Everyone's talking, few of them know
The rest are pretending, they put on a show
And if there's a message I guess this is it
Truth isn't easy, the easy part's shit

Blowed up, sir!

So would that make the Mole a plantar wart?

Mets go ahead 7-9 in the 8th*, an inning that included Chris Capuano being announced to pinch hit, then being pulled for Thole.  Collins working hard or hardly working?

Still batting with 2 out and the bases juiced as I type.

Mets win, 9-8.  Score 1 for the meltdown managerial style.

I hope it keeps him there for many years.
