... and here comes The Peen.
I tell you what, Q is hittin the ball and workin the opposite field.
Wasn't that from Ron Jeremy?
I was thinking Flip Wilson.
Gomez slaps a good breaking ball to SS but Sanchez can't get close to it. Runners on the corners with Penis Nose up.
This situation is sub-optimal.
Ok, who's got big Easter plans? I'll be cooking the traditional fajitas.
Pence walks. I'll say that again. Pence walks.
crapola! this game will not be won easily
They still gotta three innings out of the pen. And they don't have a 14 run lead.
it's a battle of the mediocre bullpens
I don't think our pen is terrible, they just pitch like it a lot of the time.
The pen is awful. They ocassionally pitch like they're not terrible.
hey guys, random question: me and a couple of my friends are going to be taking a 2-3 week road trip to alaska late summer. i was looking at it today and realized i know jack shit about that gigantic state and the route up there. any ideas of interesting things to do that may or may not be that obvious?
You goons are driving up there? Wow.The bible for people like you seems to be this:http://www.themilepost.com/Many of the places I'd like to see in Alaska are largely inaccessible by road, mainly the Russian settled towns in the panhandle.
thanks for that link. yeah, the driving part is not fully confirmed but it's been discussed. like i said, looking at it all today made it seem way more complex than i had it in my mind.
It's not like driving to Seattle, dude, Alaska is way the fuck up there. And it's not as if there's a Bucee's every couple of hundred miles through the Yukon Territory.
Why do you have to be such a goddam pessimist all the time, Hudson? You can really bring down a cheerful, glass half full, walk on the sunny side of the street kind of guy like me.
yeah, we've also discussed flying up there and renting a car or something. i don't know, right now i'm just trying to get as much information as i can. and god willing someday there'll be a bucee's on the west coast.
wow, was that not a potentially game-saving play in left from pence to cut off that ball? or was he just playing so deep it didn't matter
was q blocking the ump's view? looked real close either way
He was clearly safe. It wasn't really very close.
He was safe and it wasn't close.Does Lyon have an out pitch that he's saving for later in the year or is he just spectacularly unsuited to being a closer?
Lyles 7 IP, 3 Hits, 1 BB, 3 Ks, 0 Runs against Round Rock
Does Lyon have an out pitch that he's saving for later in the year?
i think it's that slider that betancourt just spit on
Small family gathering of about 75-80. We have 26 chickens to fry, unknown number of rabbits to fry, one fried turkey, and a ham.No clue on the side dishes but I bet there will be about 30 or more desserts.
that sounds awesome! where you going to be?
Koscuisko, Texas. Not to far from Poth. There will be a lot of Wiatreks and Pruskis.
I had my wedding reception at the VFW hall in Kosciusko
No you didn't. Koscuisko doesn't have a VFW hall, Poth does. Koscuisko has a parish hall and a community hall. I watched game 1 of the 2005 world series there during a cousin's wedding reception. Great place for a wedding if 800 people are coming.
Leaving Lyon in here?!?!?!?
okay, on further review and consultation with mrs. wiatrek trum, turns out it was kosciusko hall. is that the same place?
Alright, Lyon has stopped pissing me off. For now...
So, what's happening in this game? We have the ten commandments on and the astros aren't found ons channel here.
Let me google that for you.http://kosciuskohall.com/
That website makes it seem fancier than it is.
So, what's happening in this game?
found a picture here that's definitely what i remember: http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.lonestarmusic.com/uploaded/venuephotos/ktownhall.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.lonestarmusic.com/index.php%3Ffile%3Dv-venue%26iVenueId%3D5468&usg=__iOiEwY0xEpkVKufcrgU8xyr5QtI=&h=150&w=200&sz=25&hl=en&start=0&zoom=1&tbnid=TvbYshR92BdbLM:&tbnh=120&tbnw=160&ei=DpKzTcCAJJHPiAK3zLWwBg&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dkosciusko%2Bhall%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dfirefox-a%26sa%3DN%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-US:official%26biw%3D762%26bih%3D611%26tbm%3Disch&um=1&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=578&vpy=141&dur=148&hovh=120&hovw=160&tx=88&ty=58&page=1&ndsp=12&ved=1t:429,r:3,s:0ftr, i also remember going to a wedding at the poth vfw hall and had a very close call with one of poth's finest afterward. i also think i went to some mega summer barbecue outside maybe the catholic church in kosciusko. does that make sense or would it have been somewhere else? man, those small texas towns.
My grandparents used to take a 4 month vacation every other spring and drive to Alaska. They started in Texas, went to Florida, drove up the East Coast, across Canada, stayed in Alaska for a month or so, drove down the West Coast and back to Texas in their motorhome. I always wanted to go with them, but couldn't get my parents to let me miss school.
The days of gas at fifty cents a gallon.
And new cars for $4,000. People today are perfectly willing to pay $40,000 for a car and $1.75 for a pint of water, but bitch to no end that gas isn't still $0.69/gallon. Don 't get me started.
