Wallace follows up the El Caballo shot with an attempted check swing excuse me double by left field line.  Hall scalds one down the left field line, Wallace scores. T1 (2 outs): HOU 3, MIL 0

JD saying that the hitters 'get hitterish' against Marcum because he doesn't have good stuff.

Bourn grounds into the impossible 4-6-3 dp, on a fairly slow grounder at that. Very quick flip from 2B to SS.

I don't know why Myers would throw Peen a fastball over the plate with two strikes. It just makes no fucking sense.

Myers throws strike 3 square in the middle of the friggin' plate, HPU inexplicably doesn't call it, and then Braun jacks a 2-run shot 2 pitches later. Bullshit!!!! UGH!!!!!

They still gotta three innings out of the pen. And they don't have a 14 run lead.

You goons are driving up there? Wow.

The bible for people like you seems to be this:

Many of the places I'd like to see in Alaska are largely inaccessible by road, mainly the Russian settled towns in the panhandle.

In right, but yes, that was important. However, some day people will realize that the chances of Pence actually hitting the bag are nearly zero.

Does Lyon have an out pitch that he's saving for later in the year or is he just spectacularly unsuited to being a closer?

If you're gonna close in this league, you either better be able to make guys swing and miss or you'd better throw som ground balls. Lyon doesn't do either particularly well.

Ok, who's got big Easter plans? I'll be cooking the traditional fajitas.

Small family gathering of about 75-80.  We have 26 chickens to fry, unknown number of rabbits to fry, one fried turkey, and a ham.

No clue on the side dishes but I bet there will be about 30 or more desserts.

Serious question, did Hall suddenly learn how to hit this morning?
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

I had my wedding reception at the VFW hall in Kosciusko

No you didn't. Koscuisko doesn't have a VFW hall, Poth does.  Koscuisko has a parish hall and a community hall.  I watched game 1 of the 2005 world series there during a cousin's wedding reception.  Great place for a wedding if 800 people are coming.

Many of my family members had their weddings there.  Lots of of fun memories, at ready those that I remember.

So, what's happening in this game?  We have the ten commandments on and the astros aren't found ons channel here.

Astros somehow managed to score three runs in the top of the 10th (last run driven in by Lyon, however improbably). Now we're moving on to the bottom of the 10th.

ftr, i also remember going to a wedding at the poth vfw hall and had a very close call with one of poth's finest afterward. i also think i went to some mega summer barbecue outside maybe the catholic church in kosciusko. does that make sense or would it have been somewhere else? man, those small texas towns.

The church picnics in Poth, Cestahowa, Koscuisko and Falls City in the summer were awesome.

It's not like driving to Seattle, dude, Alaska is way the fuck up there. And it's not as if there's a Bucee's every couple of hundred miles through the Yukon Territory.

My grandparents used to take a 4 month vacation every other spring and drive to Alaska.  They started in Texas, went to Florida, drove up the East Coast, across Canada, stayed in Alaska for a month or so, drove down the West Coast and back to Texas in their motorhome.  I always wanted to go with them, but couldn't get my parents to let me miss school.

The days of gas at fifty cents a gallon.

And new cars for $4,000. People today are perfectly willing to pay $40,000 for a car and $1.75 for a pint of water, but bitch to no end that gas isn't still $0.69/gallon. Don 't get me started.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

No, I'm not paying any more than $1.19 for a pint of water. Above that it's just gouging.
