Netflix WTF?
« on: March 22, 2011, 08:17:30 pm »
Wanted to downstream some entertainment. This message is what I get: We’re sorry, the Netflix website and the ability to instantly watch movies are both temporarily unavailable.

?!?!?! Never had that happen before. Anyone else?
Everyone's talking, few of them know
The rest are pretending, they put on a show
And if there's a message I guess this is it

They must be seriously hurting.  The message says streaming devices still work, but Xbox wont connect so I doubt thats true.

Looks like tonight you'll have to get your porn the old fashioned way. VHS cassette.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Do those even work with modern TVs?

I've been watching "The League" just fine.  The streaming's slow, but it's running.

Let me explain something to you. Um, I am not "Mr. Lebowski". You're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing.

Didn't netflix just drop a ton of cash for a TV show that AMC and HBO were competing for?

Showtime is pulling shows like Dexter and Californication off from Netflix's watch instantly offerings. Probably just a matter of time before you can subscribe directly to Showtime to view their shows online without having to pay a third party to deliver the content.

Showtime needs to put together a Shameless highlight reel, involving nothing but Emmy Rossum's boobs.

I'm sure you can find that on the interwebs for free.

HBO apparently now has a streaming service for subscribers with tons of old shows and movies, but TWC does not yet offer it. Furk.

If they offer "Dream On", I'm all in.
