Here's an interesting article that pulls 25 observations from Fangraphs data. For my taste, there's too much "he's the best, he's the worst" declaration going on here – especially considering it's just one formula for quantifying performance by pitch type – but it's interesting anyway. And since Wandy is deemed to have the best curve in the majors, it must be accurate.

The riff on Zumaya rings true.  Saw Vinny Castilla and Moises Alou turn and pull the shit out of enough 98mph fastballs into the bleachers to believe it.
