The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Actually he and Lee are both listed above 250 on the Astros current roster.  I looked after I guessed, mostly because I couldn't believe Lee wasn't a correct answer.

There is no "official" listing, it's just what I use more often than not (retrosheet as well).  If anyone can show me  legitimate proof that they have an alternate anwser I'll award Ding!s.

Both of you can add a Ding! to your talley.

I thought the reference to JimR seeing him this year was to Paulino in RR.  Forgot about Paronto.

Interesting: The RR roster lists Fulchino as 252 lbs while the Astros website has him at 275 lbs.  Big difference.

It's not the last time I'll stand corrected, i guarantee you.  It happens, just bring it to my attention.  I really do try very hard to be acurate and research all my questions as best I can.  Sometimes I slip, but not often.  I have to go way out there to challange this bunch.

Well, most of the big league games are televised*, and they say the camera adds 20 pounds.

* no thanks to Fox, who after the rain delay stuck with the Phils-Mets yesterday in most markets that were supposed to get the Astros.

Could be.  Baseball Cube and ESPN listed him at 210 and baseball Almanac had him at 180.
