Chicago Cubs right fielder Milton Bradley could face a suspension after arguing with home plate umpire Larry Vanover on Thursday.
Bradley was called out after taking a third strike with the bases loaded in the sixth inning of a 7-4 loss to the Cardinals. He argued the call and was ejected from the game. Second base umpire Dan Iassogna told the Chicago Tribune that a report was being sent to the commissioner's office because there was "contact" in the incident. Any player making contact with an umpire faces the possibility of a fine and suspension.

It took Bradley all of two seconds to get ejected, at which point he turned and headed to the dugout almost as quickly. He was gone from the clubhouse by the time reporters were allowed in after the game.
''I like it,'' said teammate Derrek Lee, who suggested Wainwright got some ''breaks'' on calls during the at-bat. ''He said what he had to say and walked off. That's him. He's intense. It's a big situation and he wanted to do well, and he got upset. That's OK. He didn't do anything malicious.
''He was coming out of the game anyway. And now he's just got to pay 500 bucks.''
LinkI don't think FTC has anything to worry about. If it was incidential, I'm sure the League will give Milton Bradley the benefit of the doubt.
