Real Sports takes on the Bellaire PD
« on: February 22, 2009, 12:18:29 pm »
An extended report in the current episode talks about an incident on December 31 of this year in which a kid - baseball prospect - was shot in front of his own house, and his own parents, by the BPD after being "pulled over" at his home for suspicion of stealing the car he was driving...which was his own car.

The kid survived the bullet in the chest, but his potential career hangs in the balance because of it.  His name is Robbie Tolen, son of Bobby Tolen, who played 14 years in the bigs, including the Cards and the Big Red Machine.

Glad this is still being talked about and being picked up on a national scale.  We talked about it some here in the B&Q earlier.
Always ready to go to a game.

Bobby Tolan could play the game.
