Hey Craig! Any way you can get one of your snakes to eat a cardinal this weekend?

Usually there's a shitload of cardinals around but I haven't seen many lately. But we do have a stray cross-eyed siamese cat that's been living on the front porch all summer, so maybe he's been dining on redbirds. I doubt he'll be chasing anything this weekend though, because we took him to the vet yesterday and got his balls cut off. Maybe I'll name him "PooHole."

This time last year the Cards were just 2 games back of the Fucking cubs.

While there is nothing wrong with the usage, and I am certainly sympathetic to it, the American Lexicographic Society has determined that using the adjective "fucking" as a modifier for the noun "Cubs" is, in fact, redundant.

Nice preview all the way around, though.

1994, the strike year.

The schedule was canceled so no series against the Torre-led 'birds that August.
