After 2 outs, Berkman was plunked and Lee drew a walk, setting the stage for a 3-run bomb from Blum. 3-0 Astros.

And the 2-out rally continues with singles from Wiggy and Bourn and an RBI flare to center by Ausmus. 4-0 Astros with Moehler batting in the 1st.

Moehler K's to retire the side.

4-0 Astros!

Matsui's playing?  He's just not very good.

Amen. That double off the right field wall was really ugly.

Fuck McTaggart.

Backup drummer for ABBA? Surely Brownie meant Spinal Tap.

He often reminds me of "Rockin' Mel" Slirrup.

Well, that's one way to get an out.

I don't know what he meant but it sure seemed rehearsed... rendering a botch that much more embarrassing

Mulder left his St. Louis start after 3 innings with pain in his left shoulder.

Shocking.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

Brian McTaggart, no-talent ass clown.  Matsui double makes it 6-4 Astros.

Actually it was after 16 pitches, only 5 of which were strikes. 1/3 inning, 2 BBs, 1 K.

I'm going to keep beating this dead horse until Coop recognizes it:

Hunter Pence has a lower OBP in the leadoff spot than Michael Bourn.

I don't think there is a reason to hit anyone on this ball club in the lead off spot when Bourn is in the lineup at this point in the season.

On a brighter note he did go 3-6 2-6 1-6 0-6 tonight.

Nevermind...

I only saw his last two ABs, but were they all groundouts to the left side?

Code blue, my ass, Colorado Rockies brewers!  Code Brick Red!  Good win, given two touchdowns worth of LOB's.  What a relief.  Let's go get them Natspos!

Hey, good lookin' shirt Brownie's sporting.  Gotta have me one.  No pin stripes on it, either.
