The SnS Admins would like to make the first of many announcements to come about either an eZine or Forum change for the better. Today we are pleased to announce the roll out of a new forum addition to our family of forums:

Beer and Queso

The B&Q will be your hangout for on-going off-topic (Non-BB) talk of interest to you. Mind you, it's not a place to stash porn or decide to go at each other in terms of personal vendettas or dueling. This is simply an extention of the fine information we've been able to provide in the past on the TZ that were not baseball or Houston Astros related. Like what to feed a turtle you've rescued from a bayou or what beer Shiner is putting out and when or what Limey is wearing today.

Many a time, I've been amazed at the amount of great sharing you've graciously done on the TZ, like where a good place to eat in San Antonio for my anniversary, et. al. Well, keep it up at the B&Q if you wish. Mind you, we are not going to patrol the forum for bad behavior but if we are warned that someone is using the forum incorrectly, same rules apply there that apply here at the TZ, so don't think it's the autobahn of forums and you can go crazy in there.

Oh, and of course, the occasional posting of a Scarlett Johannson pic at the B&Q won't hurt either.

P.S. Does this mean you cannot post Non-BB topics in the TZ? Yes and no. Yes, it would be better if you posted non-BB at the B&Q, but if you post it here we won't hurt you in any way. We'll just wander out loud what the hell is wrong with you! Just saying...

No problem Jim. Just dealing with a massive head cold/sinus infection this weekend/today. Little off that's all. Don't take anything I write or say today the wrong way, the TZ will never change.

I've always enjoyed the non-BB topics, but many couldn't be fully vetted before (rightly) invoking the wrath of Spack. With that less of a concern, I imagine we could have some very interesting conversations. We're fortunate enough to have some (IMO) intelligent and gifted writers contributing to the site and I for one would like to see how they handle some of these other topics, interspersed with pics of clevage of course.

i hope like hell Spack patrols all the forums. i still think this site is not the place for religion or politics. there is nothing that turns to bona fide anger quicker.
