We'll be using pink bats (non-BB)

Just a little announcement: got back from the big 20-week ultrasound today, and my husband and I are happy to announce that we are expecting a little girl :) So, looks like pink bats in our future!

Congrats.  That is great news.

I am broken and was only able to produce male off-spring.   Being the baseball fan, I figured, 3 strikes and I was out.

So, your daughter will be spinning up her minor league career just as mine has blazed a trail to become the first female shortstop in the MLB.  Good timing.  If you choose to go the pitcher route, remember to bind that right arm behind her back as soon as she's born...

As the father of a female high school senior, I can say that I can't imagine a girl being easier to deal with. She's the oldest of my four children (3 are girls) and the most laid-back, easy-going child you can imagine.

Agreed.  You might as well have ATM tatooed on your forehead (2 daughters here, one 19 and one 23, and they get more expensive every year)
