I am in hell
« on: September 19, 2007, 08:06:32 am »
I have been in the Philippines this week on business.  The ESPN here has shown all the games of the NYY/BSOX 2xs this week that is all the baseball I have been able to see.  What have I done to deserve this?????
Always ready to go to a game.

I was in Africa for two weeks, beginning at the trading deadline.  We had ESPN in places, but it was hours of either cricket or soccer, with NFL scores on the crawl but no baseball of any kind except for a :90 bumper that ran occasionally, one that showed each position on the diamond and what that position was mostly responsible for.  Baseball!  Catch it!
I'm in love with rock and roll and I'll be out all night.

Because you don't have to listen to Tim McCarver on ESPN (just Dusty Baker)- yes the fox broadcast as well as a few YES games have been on ESPN here.  In America you are just subjected to 10 minutes on sportscenter when they don't play their games on ESPN

I believe it is ESPNstar is the version I am getting.  I have actually enjoyed some of the rugby games I have seen.  Don't have a clue about the rules but like the action.
Always ready to go to a game.

If you don't like food that smells like a gang of possums going through a dumpster full of used diapers outside a slaughterhouse then yeah you could say it's terrible.

I make Chicken Adobe at home.   Don't know if they actually make that in the Phillipines or not.

if your talking adobo, then oh yeah.  chicken or pork usually, but you can do beef too.

and you will never have a better egg/spring roll than lumpia.  just fantastic.
Here are just a few of the key ingredients: dynamite, pole vaulting, laughing gas, choppers - can you see how incredible this is going to be?
