That run scored on another groundball that found a hole in the infield. In the 2nd, couple more groundballs found holes and the score settled at 2-0. But in the bottom of the 2nd , the Astros loaded the bases with no outs. A sac fly salvaged 1 run.
In the 7th, this time runners 2nd and 3rd. One run scored on a groundball, infield was back. And a base hit scored another run. Score 3-2. And it stayed that way until the 9th.
In the 9th, with 2 outs, the count 1-1, pinch hitter Xavier Nady scrapped a slider from Brad Lidge off the bottom of the strike zone and the game was tied.
Extra innings dragged on. Astros had a couple chances to score a run. The 10th particularly, with the bases loaded and one out.
But finally, the Astros bullpen bottomed out in the 15th. A 3 run homer was the topper.
