He's playing.  Played tonight and went 2 for 5.  Batting over 300.  Check out the linescore of Salem.

Batting over 300.

This has been his best season since his rookie year, but the .300 avg is a bit misleading.  During May he hit .400.  April was sub .200.  And June and July are .280ish.  He's been up and down but may be settling in as a .280-.290 hitter.
Goin' for a bus ride.

The difference between his Greeneville year and this year is:

Doubles instead of HR's and significantly fewer K's.  In Greeneville, he struck out almost once every 3 at bats (70/227) now he is down to once every 5 1/2 at bats (47/260)  That is a big change.  All of his numbers have improved since Lexington last year except his K ratio which has stayed about the same. Looks like he is developing.

Keep in mind he was also drafted out of High School and has some hicups in his personal life.  So while the latter delayed his development some, the former means he has more time to develop.
So really he is doing about what he should for where he is.  After his blistering start to pro ball, he had more expectations on him, but in reality he is about where he should be in development.

He still might turn into something special, but I think there is less pressure on him to be that now.

"Outfielder Mitch Einertson went back home to California last weekend, missing three games against the Frederick Keys to attend the memorial services for his maternal grandmother Joyce Collins, who was 73."

Einertson is on pace to break the Salem season record for RBIs (Franchise not Affiliate).  He needs 34 more to break the record of 101 set by Gerald Davis in 1981.  He is averaging .87 RBI game and there are 43 games left.
