Apparently, it's official The Link  Sammy the Clown is a Ranger.  Cue circus music.

Yeah, but a French circus, right?  Not bear on a unicycle music, it'd be a big fat guy wearing a diaper and a fish on his head, pointing and laughing at things no one else sees while, in the background, a women in an opera costume caterwauls in a made up language, that kind of circus music.

The sports station here has been ridiculing this move. The one that hit home to me was the comment that this is rubbing salt in the wound. He hit exactly one HR in a Ranger uni before hitting 500+ elsewhere. Now, he'll come here and hit one more. Not to mention the distractions that surround him.

I think we have a new Funk and Wagner entry.

Let's just hope there are no half-nude, half-Spandexed Frenchmen hurling themselves about in the outfield. It's a good thing Montreal's not in the league anymore.

That's scary how well you pantamime the french attempt at humor.  Almost as scary as the french attempt at humor itself.
Another trenchant comment by a jealous lesser intellect.

I have seen a Cirque du Soleil show or two.  There is always the caterwauling.  Sometime the caterwauling is good, sometimes, it's not.
