Yeah, the Texans fucked up.
Everyone's talking, few of them know
The rest are pretending, they put on a show
And if there's a message I guess this is it
Truth isn't easy, the easy part's shit

That was obvious long ago.  This is something like Exhibit #456 in that mountain of evidence... but what an exhibit it was.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

Oh, let's be fair.  #1 pick Mario Williams had 2 tackles and no sacks in this game.  Play.  Maker.  Game.  Changer.

He may turn in to one of the best DEs of all time; it was STILL a stupid fucking use of the #1 pick.

Arguably the dumbest thing they could've done with the #1 pick was not pick Vince.  2nd and 3rd dumbest things would've been not to pick Reggie Bush or Matt Leinart.  Congrats to the Texans on a trifecta of idiocy.

Add to that giving David "Short Pass Specialist" Carr an extension.

Holy shit that's hilarious in a thread about Vince Young.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

I don't.  He overthrew numerous receivers, threw a couple he shouldn't have (including the INT), and missed a sure touchdown on the opening drive when he threw a terrible pass (that should have been caught anyway, but was still a terrible pass).  He throws the little 10-15 yard dump passes OK, but other than that, I think he struggles with accuracy and timing.  He may get better, but overall I think that will be his achilles heel in the NFL.

After having watched David Carr for 5 years, these seem to be bombs.

Well, if you think David Carr is the standard for quarterback success in the NFL, I can understand why you're so high on VY.
