I absolutely almost never read the Chronicle here. Literally never in paper form, and very rarely in electronic form.
Hoping to get some news on the Astros FA goings-on, I just read an article by JDJO that had the following paragraph (bold and italics mine):
"Baseball's annual winter meetings don't begin until Dec. 4 in Orlando.
There's a strong chance that the truly premier sluggers that landed on the free agent market this winter - Soriano, Lee and Aramis Ramirez - might be signed before the winter meetings. Ramirez resigned with the Cubs earlier this month."
No wonder you all hate
this paper.
