Well I guess the Cubbies are in full blown mini-NY mode.  This should end well for them.  Sweet Lou won't be able to use the same crutch he did in TB...

All things being equal, I'd love to have DeRosa on my team.  Why is it that you think this is a bad signing?

Cub payroll is on its way to $120M+ for this season.  Lou has been promised the best team $ can buy unlike what he had in TB.  I am not questioning the DeRosa signing just the "buying a pennant" mode that they have adopted.
