Ryan O'Malley.

Goodie.  Rookie I've never heard of.  Swept at home by the Cubs.  Yeah, we're going to the playoffs.

D'uh!!  You already guaranteed the Astros weren't going when you bought playoff tickets.

All I know, Alkie, is that I gladly welcome back your sarcastic pessimism; the Astros seem to play better when you act that way.  You were starting to get a bit big for your britches with the sudden success of the tote board.

As punishment, you must eat the worst possible Tex-Mex you can find.  I'm thinking Casa Ole or Panchos.  Pick your poison.  Either way, it should help spark some caustic remarks.

Rather die, thanks.

Actually, you all are in luck.  I won't be updating the Tote Board again until next Monday.  If we're in 1st by then, the Tote Board is history.

If we're in first by then, the headlines will all revolve around a sub-.500 team leading the Wild Card.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

Elaboration:  Swept at home by the Cubs with Oswalt, Clemens, Pettitte on the mound.

Yep.
We now have our very own Cubs to root for. The newest branch of a famous Chicago franchise.... just like that place you can find in all the mall food courts that sells those nasty ass hot dog salad things with the tomato and cucumber slices and other useless crap...

All the bad baseball you can eat... without the overpriced ducats and the three-hour plane ride...
When the Clark is dead, Spack will eat his spleen. Before he dies, Spack will put his posts under the knife so the Clark will see his threads wiped out forever...
