WKOOK radio's recap of today's game.

"Shut-outerish"

The Astros were no hit through 4 by Zambrano. They really looked like they were about to be shut out.  You know, like when you're looking like you're going to do nothing.

In the 5th, they had runners 2nd, 3rd, no outs, Ausmus and Everett K'd looking.   7th, 1st and 3d, one out, Ausmus K'd looking, Munson K'd swinging, same effect.

The offense broke through in the 8th, single, wild pitch, sac fly, sac fly.  Majestic.

A pinch hit move late in the game lead to the novelty of Mike Lamb playing 2nd.  This should quell any doubt that Garner isn't thinking of, and trying, everything.

The Astros final opportunity was in the 9th, when they had 2 on 2 outs and couldn't get the extra hit.

Pettitte didn't do himself any favors neither.  Back to back homeruns in the 3rd and 3 walks in the 5th combined to produce 3 runs.

On to New York, I can smell the urine already.
