while i won't say anything is impossible, i would be surprised.  the price is high even for someone who couldnt demand a trade at the end of the season, but throw in the fact that tejada can, and its seemingly an insane price for a rental.

besides, phil doesnt even offer up any justification for that rumor.  not to mention that puprpura has said that the next trade would likely be for bullpen help anyways.

so all in all, i would say that phil went the way of richard justice there, and spent too much time talking to polly prissy pants.

Just one thing to keep in mind is that even if we are forced to trade, we get something back from that (the worry is that the value declines because we have to sell but if there are enough interested teams that worry is less important).
