Braves 4-2 in game 3

The Astros sent out a patchwork lineup with Munson at 1st, Lamb at  3rd, and Lane in cf.  Berkman had the day off for family matters and Ensberg was nursing a sore shoulder.

Buchholz, at first, looked like the bad Buchholz, two doubles in the first, a single to the pitcher in the 3rd and a fastball right down the middle to Renteria that went for a 3 run homer got him in trouble early.  But then the complete game shut out version of Buchholz took over and he breezed through the next 5, ultimately going 8 innings.

But the Astros could only touch Hudson for one hit and the game zipped along until the 8th. Orlando Palmeiro?s triple contributed to a 2 run inning. And Jason Lane was able to reach 2nd in the 9th but no one could get him home.

1:05 start, Wandy v. Horacio Ramirez.
