Anyone available to do Gamezone?
« on: April 13, 2006, 05:05:39 pm »
MLB gameday is very slow.  Why was there an injury timeout?  I was afraid Backe's back was upsetting him again.

Ruh roh.

Backe's forearm (elbow?) isn't cooperating today. Let's pray it's not serious.

He was shaking his arm like he hit his funny bone or something. Trainer came out, but he looked fine afterwards.

Brownie just said Backe is coming out of the game. Buchholz warming up.

I'm getting the game on TV.

OK, WTF? Now Backe is batting. Maybe he's OK or they're just trying to get him an AB.

Son of a bitch.  If he goes on the DL it'll have to be Zeke taking his place.  No one else is ready.

I am on MLB.tv again and am forced to the Giants broadcast. They suck. Its definitely the Barry show. They keep showing the bay with the dudes in the kayaks and all that crap... I mean not just in the bumpers, but during at bats. They have called a couple of Astros by the wrong name and don't seem to have a clue about the fact that Clank owns Morris.

That was great, watching Mr. Asterisk do the Steroid Strut up the first base line while Willie T is camped out underneath the fly.

End of four, 1-1.

Clank and Burke both have their boots on today.

I don't know what that means. Morris caught a come backer about 6 inches off the ground and doubled Bidge off first.

Thanks. I was wondering how Biggio got to third on a liner to Morris. Must have been a mistake by gameday.

They just called the Astros right fielder Jerry Lane.
