MIA???

Having only ST stats to go on, is there any updates on Ensberg?  How's he playing so far?  How's he look at the plate?

He is fighting through injuries and might need major shoulder surgery.  Look for him to be on and off the DL all year.

Me? or Froback?

Personally, I think he nailed the reason I'm asking what on the surface is a ridiculous question...  If the player is not a starting pitcher or Bagwell, there isn't much reported on their ST to date.

Not a thing wrong with Ensberg.  His scientific study of balls and strikes is continuing.  In fact there has been little news of note this ST.  Burke had his first really tough day at short yesterday, slowing up the front end of a failed dp attempt and letting a ball go right through his legs on another grounder.   He's been serviceable otherwise.  Everett had the back twinge.  Russ Springer has seen about an inning due to a back problem.  Backe, who has been blaming everything on the wind, said his back was tight yesterday.  The only other problem has been Carlos who didnt get enough work in the WBC.  But Buchholz and Nieve seem to be coming through.  Eric Munson looks like he might win the Luke Scott Award this ST.  That's the answer to the Astros 2006 version of the question, "but other than that Mrs Lincoln, what did you think of the play?"

I view Mr. Froback as being much more in the loop than I am, and I guess my paranoia related to Ensberg's past elbow and hand injuries, combined with a complete breakdown in my sarcasm detector, let that one slip over my head.

You'll find it on the shelf right next to the Fredia language translator.

Wait... you said SCARcasm.
