Free Agent Compensation Rankings
« on: December 07, 2005, 03:31:50 pm »
I was wondering if anyone new where the rankings of all FAs was.  I recall last year I could find it (thought is was on MLB.com) but cannot find it this year.

This is the ranking were they are put in classes like A, B, C... Where if you lose a Class A FA, you get a 1st round pick from the team that signed him, etc.

Anyone else find it funny that Brad is a Class A catcher?  I mean I like him, but if someone signs him we get a 1st and a supplemental pick...  To me, those two picks plus Quintero is almost worth Ausmus...

but if we offer him arbitration, he can still accept it and we keep him... that isn't a bad option either.
