I am depressed.
« on: October 24, 2005, 04:27:19 am »
Going to have to sell my primo tickets for game 5. Thought we would win one in Chicago, and sweep the home games, so I thought game 5 was the one where Astros earn their rings.

Only positive I see, is if we can somehow sweep the 3 home games, at least we will have momentum going back to Chicago.

So far, the pitching from our bench has sucked. I hate to say it, but that and management is where our problem has been. What does it take before management realizes their is a problem and pulls a pitcher who is loading the bases? Crap!

Clemens has probably seen his last days in a game. I am really worried about ace starter.

But I know Houston games will still be to our advantage. My advice. Throw out all the old geezer players and let the young players play! They are too green to know it can't be done.

GO ASTROS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd be depressed if I were an idiot as well.

If you were an idiot, you could at least take solace in the fact that you were wiser than Gatorbrit, lord of the idiots.
"Ground ball right side, they're not gonna be able to turn two OR ARE THEY, THROW, IS IN TIME!!! WHAT AN UNBELIEVABLE TURN BY BRUNTLETT AND EVERETT, AND THEY CUT DOWN MABRY TO END THE GAME, AND THE ASTROS LEAD THIS NATIONAL LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES THREE GAMES TO ONE!!!!!"

Since when has the bullpen become the pitchers' bench?

If you were only going to be happy at game 5 if the Astros were in position to clinch, then you really don't deserve to be there anyway.
