First of all, those cartoon commercials suck so bad, it makes me want to give all my money away so I never invest in anything ever. (Any takers?  $40 is nothing to sneer at.)

Second... THIS guy looks like he has a vagina on his upper lip.
How can you ask me a question like that?  Do you ask The Beatles that??

I actually like those commercials, but they could have done more with them, kind of like the film Waking Life, which I enjoyed.
phew. for a minute there, I lost myself

I don't know why they spent all that money rotoscoping those people.  Does their stupid message need to be delivered by animated shadows?  Why not a gopher in a beret smoking a cigar?  That's who I trust with my life savings, not some stubbly vagina-lipped yuppie!

they spent the money because it makes their ad stand out, thus the discussion started here today.  As one of my friends believes, no facetime is ever bad facetime

Actually, the cartoonish feature is really just a televised version of a Flash ad they use across the internet. They get to use the exact same production budget for two different media (TV and WWW).

Engage uncharitable mode...

2 of the 4 Beatles are dead, yet McCartney still lives?

Limey, are there any odds on who's the last Beatle standing?

My money's with Ringo.
News that is sufficiently bad somehow carries its own guarantee of truth.  Only good reports need confirmation.

Well, considering they seem to be dying in order of talent, put some money down for me when you place that bet.

Are you kidding?  Harrison more talented than McCartney?  At least we all can agree that Ringo has the least talent.  But I do believe that Ringo is older than McCartney so I'll put my money on Paul being the last man standing.

There's an argument to be made that Harrison was the most talented of the bunch, musically speaking. When looking at their respective post-split careers, Harrison was the more immediately successful, until he embraced his own quiet weirdness.

Also, I've noticed over the past few years that many of my favorite Beatles tunes are George songs, considering the disparity between the number of Lennon/McCartney and Harrison songs, that's a little out of whack.
