I walk into the tunnel that connects the clubhouse with the dugout and see Reddick, sitting in a padded cafeteria chair with his elbows on his knees, smoking a Marlboro and checking his phone. The next day, at about the same time in the same chair, Evan Gattis sat smoking a Marlboro and staring contemplatively at the wall across from him.
Screw the Osuna is the cause bs.Lots of folks still smoke. Why would baseball players not be among them?
Because they are athletes.
And athletes obviously never do anything harmful to their bodies or make bad decisions...
Of course not. But it is still surprising given the amount of training that these guys do, that any still smoke.
I'd bet that Reddick and Gattis probably have been smoking since they were 14 or so.
I'm more amazed that they were allowed to smoke in the facilities.
Same here. I wonder if they let any employee smoke anywhere or if there are designated areas.
Not bad for ESPN.....
Let's Schmoke......
Schmoke and a pancake?
Bong and a blintz?
